Miraflex paediatric frames have enjoyed a deserved high reputation for a number of years but until recently they were not available in the UK unless optical professionals went to the expense of importing them from the Italian manufacturers. As of January 2011 Dibble Optical has made these fantastic frames more accessable than ever before, after signing an exclusive distribution agreement covering the UK and Eire.
Designed for babies and children aged from approx 3 month to 8 years, the Italian manufactured Miraflex Flexible & Safe collection is moulded from a unique lightweight and flexible plastic material to permit excellent wearing comfort and optimum adjustment.
Frames are crafted with no metal parts and hinge-free temples, thereby drastically reducing the risk of facial and eye trauma. The nose bridge is anatomically designed to distribute the weight of the frame and lenses across a larger surface to further increase wearing comfort. A special adjustable and electronically welded head band keeps the frame snugly in place to improve optical correction and occlusion treatment. Great for babies and toddlers engaging in play and sports activities.
The Flexible & Safe collection consists of 11 models and is available in more than 20 colours. Frames are supplied with a headband and case.
